Wi School
Who Are We?

Wi School was founded in 2008 with the ambition to offer a quality bilingual education in Paris. Its founder, a former lawyer living in an international setting and a company manager, established the Wi School pedagogical project on three principles: the guarantee and transparency of the learning of fundamental knowledge in line with the curriculum of the National Education based in France, bilingualism learned through immersion, and the application of innovative pedagogies such as Montessori.
The founder and her collaborators have followed demanding and cutting-edge training programs: in the United States, Head of School training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education; in France, certifications in Education Sciences, Montessori, Positive Pedagogy, and Institutional Pedagogy...
The school, thus well anchored in its pedagogical project, has continued to enrich itself by appropriating the most recent progress in education, inspired for example by recent research in cognitive and social neuroscience which sheds light on the development of the brain and the skills of the child.
In the Children's House (ages 2½-6), teachers rely primarily on the Montessori pedagogy and materials. In the Elementary Class, the Montessori material is always present, and the teachers also deploy other tools to best meet the learning needs of this cycle. This is done in a fully bilingual setting all day long.
Thus, practicing a true bilingualism and relying on an official curriculum through innovative pedagogies, the former students of Wi School have always been able to integrate into prestigious establishments. (International private and public middle schools in the Paris region).

Our Values

As a school, the development of our students remains at the heart of our work, both individually and academically. We value transparency, respect, cooperation, a taste for effort, and autonomy in order to offer an environment that is most favorable to the development and learning of each child.
Human qualities are an important part of the transmission and engage the joy of teaching and learning. We envision our school as a place where children, their families and teachers can come together in harmony to develop a creative community.
Wi School and You

Transparency and communication between the school and the parents is an important value in our school. Your qualities and skills are always welcome and Wi School encourages you to get involved in the life of the school and your children. For example, you can help the students discover your profession by leading a workshop. We encourage all parents with constructive and positive ideas to share them with the school administration.
Parents can meet with teachers and administrators at any time during the year to discuss specific issues. At the end of each semester, parents are invited to meet with the teaching staff, who regularly and accurately monitor each child's progress, to discuss the academic report card issues at that time.
More informal exchanges are also part of school life: parents' coffee, shows, outings, school celebrations…
